I was upgraded about two weeks after initial results and received placement yesterday !
I’m pretty sure people only get upgrades when a placement becomes available to them. Placements only come out this late because they have to finalize some things.
I was upgraded end of April and got my placement yesterday with everyone else. 😊
I was upgraded middle of May and was told I should get a placement the same time as everyone else. From what I’ve seen, most of the people who got placements already are from the consulates that are departing with group A. I’m with Washington DC and I’ve only seen a few from there who got their placements. Hoping we’ll get ours next week!
I was upgraded May 18 and received an email June 3 saying my placement has been delayed T-T
I was upgraded May 11th (as a CIR, so idk if our assignment process is different) and was told that I might experience a delay with my placement. I didn’t experience any delays though and got my placement on June 3rd along with everyone else from my consulate.
