Require 7 Day JR pass for use from day 5- day 12: Checked JR pass calculator and pass will save me money ✔️
I am very open to changing plans, abandoning plans and including spontaneous activities into my schedule. Dot points of locations/activities are purely to have a point of focus if I don’t know what I want to do on the day.
Day 1: Arrive Haneda Airport 6:20am
* Pick up JR Pass, portable wifi, and IC card
* Catch train to Shinjuku and check into hotel
* Freshen up, explore Shinjuku and surrounding area.
Day 2: Tokyo (Staying in Shinjuku)
* Catch train to Shibuya- Shibuya crossing, Shibuya Tree, Takeshita Street, Meji Jingu shrine
* Shopping opportunity?
Day 3: Tokyo (Staying in Shinjuku)
* Tokyo tower
* TeamLAB
* See cherry blossoms at the Imperial East Gardens
Day 4: Tokyo (Staying at Disneyland Hotel)
* Train to Tokyo Disneyland in morning, check into hotel and go enjoy Disneyland!
Day 5: Tokyo > Kyoto
* Have breakfast then spend half day in Disneyland/Disneysea
* Check out of hotel and catch Keiyo line to Tokyo station
* Catch shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Kyoto Station
* Catch Eki mae to hotel, check in and relax
* Find dinner, explore general surroundings
Day 6: Kyoto > Hiroshima
* Arishiyama bamboo grove, Tenryu-Ji temple, Senko-Ji temple, Nishiki Market, Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizudera temple
* Catch Shinkansen to Hiroshima
* Check into hotel in Hiroshima, relax and find dinner
Day 7: Hiroshima
* Explore surroundings and find a cafe for breakfast
* Atomic bomb dome
* Peace memorial/museum
Day 8: Hiroshima > Osaka
* Free morning to see anything I didn’t get to see the day before or relax and have a nice breakfast
* Catch Shinkansen to Osaka, check into hotel and find somewhere for dinner
Day 9: Osaka
* Explore surroundings and find breakfast
* Namba Yasara shrine
* Explore Dotonbori in afternoon/night
Day 10: Osaka
* Universal studios
* Mario world
Day 11: Osaka
* Osaka castle and Osaka aquarium
Day 12: Osaka > Tokyo
* Check out of hotel and catch Shinkansen to Tokyo
Day 13: Tokyo > Singapore
* Flight at 9:15am from Haneda Airport to Singapore Airport
* Check into Singapore Hotel, find dinner
