Vitamins, and over the counter medicine recommendations for common cold.

I’ve generally avoided a lot of those little bottles or other products from drug stores here, but are there any amazing medicinal products you would recommend? For example something with lots of vitamin C or with zinc, etc.

  1. Sleep and liquids are best for a cold.

The drugstore has some medicine to suppress symptoms.

  2. Is the issue time or money? If it’s money, go to a doctor as that will be cheaper. If the issue is time, look at the medicines which target the specific symptoms that you are suffering. They all advertise it clearly on the front of the box.

  3. Idk if it’s just me but I find Japanese over the counter medicine to have 0 effectiveness. In the US if I had a cold I’d just load up on NyQuil and be fine in a couple of days but there is no NyQuil equivalent.

Only thing I found that works is Bron cough syrup if I have a cough.
