What I am looking for is a resource that provides a list of kanji components with common meanings and pronunciations associated with them.
I wanted to try out this method of learning the kanji that helps you recognize it by it’s parts. For example ⺡ would usually come up in kanji associated with water and 義 appears in kanji with the reading “gi”.
As I understand Japanese people use this subconsciously to recognize new kanji or kanji they remember poorly since they have had so much experience with them they know the common patterns. I want to consciously learn them. See if that helps me, if not I’ll move on.

Wanikani teaches Kanni in its parts. I forgot what they are called
Outlier Kanji Dictionary is something that has worked for me. I use this on the Kanji Study app on my android phone. Totally been a game-changer as all my previous attempts to learn kanji weren’t fruitful.
The concept of this is to explain you a historical evolution(and therefore close to authentic) of the kanji. This is close to mental model of a regular japanese person as they have learned over the years(as far as i have been told).
