Questions:

1. I’d love recommendations if some things should be moved around, I tried my best to check nearest transit stations and pick activities that are near each other and make sense to walk to where possible. As well as being mindful of weather in case.
2. Do you think there are too many temples in the itinerary? I want to make sure it is not a “see one, you seem them all” situation.
3. For the days I left free, do you have any recommendations for site seeing I may have missed? Or must sees in areas I left out?
4. Any shops you love for ceramics, candles or perfumes? I love personal items like this as souvenirs for myself
5. I want to treat myself to one beautifully delicious omakase, what are your favorites?

I truly cannot emphasize my appreciation for any help you can offer.

Thank you!

  1. Since you have so many empty “No plan” days why not check out Ueno Park and [some of the numerous museums there?](https://matcha-jp.com/en/1026) You seem to have an interest in museums and that would be the best area for that as there a number of them within walking distance of each other.

  2. You do not have to get your return ticket to the airport on the first day as you cannot get the discount ticket anyway (neet to be within 14 days not 15).

Ghibli if you cannot buy in advance (check if the re-open sale from abroad), just check to buy ticket on your first day and go whenever it is possible. The chance to get a ticket are slim, but same day it’s just impossible.

Temple/shrine is something you cannot predict, I love them and would still put many in my itinerary, other people get borde after 2-3. Just be flexible, if you do not like it, then stop visiting them, don’t force yourself to do something you do not enjoy.
