I just finished Genki 1 & 2, and even though all books came from Japan Times, Quartet feels like a whole different world. Maybe it’s the fact that I got so used to the Genki format, it was 23 lessons after all. I’m just having a bit of a hard time on the Quartet textbooks, like where’s the part where I have to translate the sentence from English to Japanese? That’s one of the best parts in the genki workbook. And why is there no instruction on what to do for the grammar points? Am I only supposed to invent sentences?
Sorry if it sounded dumb or some people might say I could just read and figure it out, but I’m just so confused and any input would be appreciated. Thank you!

Do you have the workbooks?
ToKini Andy on Youtube seems to be doing some kinds of lessons for Quartet, but I can’t tell how helpful they’d be for you as I haven’t looked at them all that closely yet. I guess they’d still be worth looking into. (Even if you’re not looking for actual lessons, they could maybe help with grasping the structure of the book or the kinds of exercises you could do)
Sorry I can’t help more
