I really enjoined rusutsu is less crowed than Niseko and you can find really good areas
Personal favourite is Myoko Kogen, because I love Akakura Kanko Hotel!
Maybe Nozawa Onsen. Has a bit of everything. Also love the town and the little onsen.
Snow wise definitely Niseko, but now that borders are open again not interested anymore 😀 too expensive and crowded again.
