Will my U.K. student finance loan suffice for student visa proof of income

As a majority rule, most people in the U.K. use a student loan to attend university and I am entitled to £10,810 a year which is more than the required amount from the immigration services. I’m estranged so this is the only proof of income I can really give as I am going on a year abroad that is part of my Japanese and Translation degree.

Would this be classed as a scholarship as I’m hearing conflicting things online. Thanks
