I’ll be in Japan, Osaka from Dec 21 to Dec 27 evening. I made a rough itinerary and have to figure out which pass would be suitable for my trip.
My accommodation is in Osaka.

I’m planning on taking Kansai Thru Pass (2 or 3 days) for Nara and Mt Koya and/or Kyoto. But how to plan Kyoto travel of 2 or 3 days when Kansai Thru Pass is only for 2-3 days?
Any suggestions on Osaka and Kyoto itinerary? I am interested in exploring Japan nature, culture and food.

But how to plan Kyoto travel of 2 or 3 days when Kansai Thru Pass is only for 2-3 days?* It might be ok, but for Mount Koya there is also the Koyasan World Heritage Ticket. You also do not NEED a pass to go to Kyoto, it can be as cheap as 400yen one way, so it’s not terribly expensive, so might not really make sense to get a pass if you are not sure that the total usage in a day will not be at least the cost of individual tickets.
*Should I take Osaka Heritage Pass?* Can you link ? No idea what this is.
*From KIX to Osaka, I read I should take Haruka + Icoca card* Depend where the hotel is. If near Namba station, 1450 yen on the Nankai limited express direct from Airport to Namba. Round trip Haruka + Icoca is 3200 to Tennoji, so more expensive and you would need to take the subway to Namba.
