I can finally say 温かてください without fumbling my words

Took me a couple years but that specific phrase has always been hard for me to pronounce without screwing it up somehow.

Finally said it right without thinking about it today.

  1. Isn’t it 温めてください?

I agree, atatakai, especially past tense is such a tongue twister.

  2. And it took you a couple of years to find out that the right phrase is 温めてください or 温めお願いします

  3. I used to always mess up かわいい since I originally learned it through online forums long before learning Japanese. For the longest time it sounded like I was saying 怖い

  4. When I first came to Japan I couldn’t remember the correct phrase either but I could remember what the staff would ask me.
So if they didn’t say anything I’d say “温めますか” 🤷

  5. not sure if you’re talking about saying this at konbinis, but usually we ask 温めますか?, depending on the item and time of day.
