1. I love how the density peters out in the distance.I’d love to take a snowy drive around there, followed by a hot bowl of ramen!

2. this looks beautiful here, but I spent a lot of time in this city and it’s most definitely a run down place.

3. I would love to visit Hokkaido. I picutre it a lot more rural than this htough.

5. If you ever go in the summertime I highly recommend bagging nearby Asahidake. You can take a ropeway most of the way up and then it’s about a 5-6 hour hike round trip for some stellar views and volcanic scenery. Relatively easy hiking too. Just don’t get lost if it’s foggy!

   There’s busses from Asahikawa if you don’t have a rental car.

7. Wow can’t believe it looks so different during Winter. It was so nice in summer, I bet this must be even better now
