Hi! I’m traveling to America for Christmas vacation, and my brother-in-law has asked me for an NPB cap. When I lived in Sendai I just popped down to one of the multiple Rakuten shops and grabbed one. I remember it being difficult to find the regular colors in the off-season, but they had them.
I’ve now looked everywhere for a cap in the Tokyo area and I’m coming up empty handed. The New Era in Harajuku only has MLB because it’s off season. The Chiba Marines store had zero hats. Google says the Giants stores are all temporarily closed. Is it impossible to buy a Japanese team cap in the off-season? I’m not a big baseball fan so sorry if this is common knowledge and I was just ill prepared. If you know where I can grab one, I’d appreciate it.

Selection Shinjuku sports store
Sports Xebio or Sports Shop Gallery 2 Shibuya would be my go to first.
Possibly MLB Cafe in Tokyo dome. Not the cafe itself of course, but the gift shop next to it. Though not sure if it’s open since the season is over.
I have seen them in random mall shops like Tokyu Hands. So can always go up and down floors and scout for it
