I’m going to move to Japan soon to study and I’d like to get a part-time job to earn some extra cash. My whole head used to be blue a few months ago but it’s grown a bit, so now I have half-brown half-blue long curly hair. I really wanted to dye my roots again (purple or the same shade of blue maybe) but I’ve been having doubts because I’m worried I won’t find a job. So far I’ve only read about people asking about full-time jobs or hair that has been dyed a natural color, but nothing about this specifically. Thoughts?

Japanese people with dyed unnatural hair colors have a hard enough time, but you could probably get a job at an “alternative” fashion shop of some kind or something of that ilk. But that would require higher level Japanese.
Probably only something minimum wage like convenience store
It’s unlikely i won’t lie idk what your level of Japanese is either but if it’s high you might be able to but if you don’t blue hair is a killer to any job
Dye your hair back to its original color.
i would try looking for jobs on your campus if that’s an option
