I recently played Go! Go! Nippon! visual novel and I think it really helped me memorizing the hiragana alphabet. It showed hiragana writing of the dialogue above English. Do you know other games that does this?
You have to be careful about these types of settings, very often the english isn’t going to be 1:1 with the Japanese, and you might end up confusing yourself more. My suggestion is to use something like textractor to do grab japanese text and do lookups on words you don’t know instead

I think Tokyo School Life has that option.
ATRI -My Dear Moments- has a setting for this
This isn’t exactly what you asked for, but Luli (Resting Peach Face) created this Let’s Play… [playlist](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SollNBMo1nI&list=PLjFJFc-61RvLMi9kbpxDsjE5nyhGutTdK) with the unlocalized game and her Eng subs at the bottom of the screen.
See: [Visual novels that let you have the English and Japanese text on screen at the same time?](https://www.reddit.com/r/visualnovels/comments/kah8ce/visual_novels_that_let_you_have_the_english_and/)
The entire Nekopara series has this too
