鼻水 – はなみず – nose water – for ‘snot’ or ‘runny nose’, makes sense and easy to remember.
Slightly less so but, 親指 – おやゆび – thumb – parent finger, kinda works I guess? Not as good as 手首 wrist being ‘hand neck’, but I learned that one ages ago. Now I might think of my thumbs as parents to my other fingers maybe.
