First of all is this sentence grammatically correct?
Also, In this case would it be ok to think that “Basketball Scoring” would be the noun here? I’m trying to best understand how the particle works in this case.

“Scoring in the NBA is Extremely difficult.” can be translated as NBAで得点することは極めて難しい.
I’m not sure what you mean by “the particle.”
