Everyone says koreans shit on everyone else in language school and excel. Is that like through every level or is it just for the beginning classes? Now that I’ve broken into N3 level material, I feel like I know how to learn Japanese now and I pick up things pretty quickly. Not sure how someone could outlearn me by a large margin at this point unless they just studied way more. But idk everyone says koreans soak up japanese cuz of language similarities

Their language is much closer to Japanese than English, therefore learning the language will take less time for them similar to how it would take less time for you to learn French than it would for them. The difficulty level is the same, the only difference is the required amount of time investment.
