Recommendations / Advice needed from Kumano Kodo hikers and Lake Motosuko camping + Izu & Ise

Hi everyone! I (20M) am planning a trip with my friend to Japan for around 25 days. We have yet to book anything, as we are considering whether the plan is feasible. I am a nature person, I enjoy walks and hikes but I wouldn’t consider myself an active hiker. Our tentative movement plan is KIX ->Osaka -> Kyoto -> Wakayama -> Ise -> Izu island -> Kawaguchiko -> Lake Motosuko -> Tokyo -> NRT. Since I have no experience in planning hikes that are overnight, I really need some guidance.

There are some key activities I want to complete –

1. Kumano Kodo Nakohechi trail in Wakayama
2. Camping for 2 nights in Lake Motosuko
3. Visiting Ise & Izu as I have not been to either before

For (1), I am more than happy to spend multiple nights on the trail, preferably 4D3N. I hope to get some recommendations on how to best complete this route for relatively inexperienced hikers, and which accommodation to stay in to save costs. The sample itinerary provided on the Kumado travel website was useful but since I don’t think I’ll need my luggage delivered to my accommodation every night, I was wondering what’s the best way to do it (maybe on the 2nd night? how did you guys plan it). I saw that the luggage delivery costs were 5000yen, which blows my budget out of the water. Here is the link of the route I’m interested in: [https://www.kumano-travel.com/en/model-itineraries/4-days-E1-kumano-kodo-highlight-walk-nakahechi](https://www.kumano-travel.com/en/model-itineraries/4-days-E1-kumano-kodo-highlight-walk-nakahechi). I wasn’t able to find any helpful information on whether luggage can be delivered from Kii-Tanabe station to Kii-Katsuura station (or Ise, since that’s my next stop).

For (2), I’d appreciate some advice from experienced campers, especially those who have camped at Lake Motosuko, on how to best enjoy the experience and what kind of activities I can plan for. I heard I could rent tentages and other camping equipment. May I know how much it would roughly cost (for 2 pax)?

For (3), I am still debating on how many nights I can spend on each – I have about an entire week to spend in these two locations. For those who have visited both, I need advice on how to allocate my time wisely. I am not too familiar with the specific attractions in each region.
