  1. Holy shit, this sub really can make literally anything bad done by a Japanese person or anything bad about Japan somehow America’s fault.

    A few Japanese people pick up trash: “Wow, Japanese culture is so wonderful! All Japanese people are so thoughtful!” A racist Japanese guy gets violent overseas: “Wow, he’s just like an American.”

    Incredible. It’s almost as if Japanese people aren’t really *people* to any of you, just living stereotypes, and when they don’t live up to the stereotype you have for them, you just pretend it’s some kind of foreign influence. Because Japanese people could never just act as individuals, could they?
