Life card or nexus card – guaranteed credit cards. Though you need to pay a deposit (which then becomes your credit limit).
Revolut is an option. debit card but hey. guaranteed to happen.
Digital card (card less) , such as the SMBC green credit card, if you are eligible they authorize you in a few minutes after you apply and provide you the card details “digitally” so you can do online shopping and such until you get a proper physical card.
Go to your local shopping mall and see if they offer credit cards. I got a credit saison card issued the same day in one of “Mitsui shopping park” shopping centers close to me! Also got an ETC card the same day.
The best and easiest way is by applying for one, while making sure that you meet all the requirements.

I tried many credit cards and all failed exept smbc. Try it if you have the bank account already, u could apply in thier website. It might take a week or 2. If you passed u might get it before august 16. Not 100% guaranteed though. Just apply with a bunch of credit cards so even if one fails you still have many on the line for next failure lol
Aeon credit card
Rakuten card and amazon card will come in a week if you qualify.
Now the hard part, if you don’t have credit history (in Japan), haven’t been in Japan for long, and/or are not a permanent employee at your company…..you might have issues getting one.
Failed Aeon (in person application), Saison and docomo before got passed by SMBC (NL). Make sure to write your name in katakana in both kanji and kana fields.
I remember Marui (OIOI) mall issuing my friend his first card on the spot, when he walked-in to their CC counter with the documents (with no appointments too).
This was 3-4 years ago. He still has it and they even bumped him to gold or platinum based on his spending.
The card itself is called EPOS card and I remember that he only had visa option when he signed up (so I not sure if they offer mastercard now).

If you just need a credit card for making payments online then get a lifecard prepaid v-preca.
Get one through your bank. If you are Mizuho you may still be able to get a Hello Kitty card.
Epos Card can issue within an hour.
Yodobashi Card also issues card within an hour.
Got my Amazon card after like 5 days, and online registration took about 10 minutes.
