Receiving tattoo equipment and food from home country via ems

Any experience with this? My mom is trying to send me some of my stuff from home and I couldn’t find anything by searching.

I know the worst thing that can happen is they’ll confiscate it, but I just thought I’d ask.

Tattoo equipment – no batteries, just a corded power supply, should be ok right?

I also have some single use packaged needle cartridges I’m worried about being confiscated.

Water based Ink – I’ve sent liquid cosmetics from home to Japan before, but never ink. Has anyone ever had ink confiscated from EMS packages?

Last thing- store bought sauce packets which I guess are liquid. (More like a paste) no beef in it as far as I can tell, but they are kinda like instant curry with no meat in them.

I know it’ll be a gamble either way but I’d like to hear from personal experience if possible

  1. Until very recently, tattoos required you to have a medical certificate or some such. While no longer the case if I recall correctly, I’d be scared that all your tattoo stuff would get seized.
