I’m planning a trip to Tokyo in May 2023 with my family including my spouse and our 7 year old. We are looking at staying in a hotel in Akihabara, the BnA Studio Akihabara, which is about 3 blocks west of the Suehirocho Station and 800m from Akihabara Station.
I wanted to ask if folks thought this area was suitable for children of this age. We mostly will be “off the street” back at our hotel by 8pm or 9pm and away from Akihabara during the day, in other parts of the city sightseeing. Are there areas/times of day to just flat out avoid with children of this age? Or is it even worth staying in this neighborhood if we are not doing anime/comics oriented shopping?
