Hey guys so, like the idiot i am I forgot to check the box to say I can want to work part-time for my Job hunting visa. Want to make some extra money without eating into savings. Anyone know some common under the table jobs that can pay a bit? I’m in Tokyo area, Thanks!

You can be a weekend priest for weddings. Requires no experience or actual priest licence.
Why not just change your visa status?
Not sure if it’s different for the designated activity visa versus student visa, but couldn’t you just go back and fill out the one sheet application?

Seems so, weddings are super profitable business in Japan and about half of them try to idolize the Roman Catholic version having the church and white dress and of course an actual foreigner playing the priest who marries the couple.
Some of the gigs pay quite well
