The Japanese reports state that, according to the prosecution, he wasn’t asked to leave the flight because he wasn’t wearing a mask, but because he shouted and assaulted a flight attendant.
So all his complaints about this being a “witch hunt” is missing the point that he did in fact have the freedom to do what he thinks he’s being persecuted for, and his problems came because of his obnoxious attitude.
What a poorly worded title

I’m not exactly a fan of capital punishment, but considering the leniency of the sentence given to this lunatic, if I was the judge then I would be reaching for the black cloth right about then.
Hopefully, the cabin crew, who he violently assaulted for no sane reason, will be suing this mental midget for injury, stress, mental duress, time lost, and for generally being a bit of a cunt.
