Hello, does anyone have any recommendations on home internet contracts (short term). I am only needing wifi for the next 5 or so months. Is there any internet providers that offer a plan without ridiculous cancellation fees etc.
I think renting a Pocket Wi-Fi would be your best choice… Most companies will charge you a construction fee and cancellation fee if you don’t keep it for at least 2 – 3 years.
Yeah, pocket Wifi. I’ve known folks to just use that for years because they squeezed yen and needed home and portable internet. And they gamed on it.
Do you have a fiber line already installed? Getting it installed takes at the quickest probably two weeks but could also be a month. Try BB Excite MEC hikari, you can cancel for free on a monthly basis.
This is assuming you have a line already installed. If you don’t, you’re going to spend a good chunk of those 5 months waiting for the construction and paying for it.

There are many providers which do not have contract terms: https://kakaku.com/bb/ranking/?bb_contractterm=0
