My husband and I are planning a 21 day trip May 23-June 13. We are starting to compile a list of things we want to go see and do. Kind of overwhelmed! What is the best way to plan accommodation, transportation, tickets, etc when we are planning from the US? Kind of having a hard time figuring out how long to stay in each place also.
Accommodation seems to be the hardest. Most things wont let us book yet. For those that do let us, the Japanese websites are honestly pretty cumbersome to try and navigate. Are there any useful websites that can help with planning and/or booking?
We are currently trying to map out everything we want to do and plan the best route, and then plan our accommodations around that. But, the booking part seems to be the most difficult. Thanks in advanced!
We’ve really enjoyed reading everyone’s itinerary here. It has helped immensely with planning to do stuff.

I’m going roughly the same time and just used Airbnb – heaps of options.
