Hi everybody. I’m renewing my visa in May, but I planned on looking for a new apartment in March as that’s when my current apartment contract ends. My confusion is will I be accepted to move into a new apartment even though my current visa expires just a couple of months later if I explain that I’ll be renewing it? Or will they just see that I have two months remaining of my current visa and deny me?

You’ll have to look for places that offer short term accommodation specifically. Leopalace is one of those places or ask your current apartment agent if you can extend by two months.
That’s gonna be a giant “case-by-case”. I’m afraid you’ll have to learn that from the real estate people. My recc:: Ask your current place for a three month extension. If you’re talking about your contract ending with your current place, you may be able to ask them for a three month extension without having to pay the key money and new charges over again. By then you’ll have your new visa and can look for your new place. Depending on how much furniture you already have you could also try LeoPalace for the gap time, although I have a feeling they would be the most strict about your visa.
Or… Renew your visa now!!! That’s the sauce.
maybe renew earlier? Ask immigration to cooperate. I think they pretty flexible with this.
