Greetings Travelers!
From 10-03-2023 to 14-04-2023 some mates and I will be traveling to japan for 35 days.
We will be having a road trip on Honshu and using train in Hokkaido
We will Land in New-Chitose Airport the 11th and will immediately make our move towards Sapporo from there our journey starts.
We are trying to limit the trip to the region of Japan where the electrical grid is 50Hz. Hence we are calling it the “50Hz Trip”.
We are looking for suggestions of places to visit around and or in between the places we go to in the following categories:
1. Games/Anime: can be places from anime/games or something related.
2. (Local)Food: (Local) Dishes and the best places to get them.
3. Special points of interest: Some places with a fun story worth telling others.
4. Nature: Stuff Hiking trails for the ones that do not hike to often or a cool big tree.
5. Accommodation: Good hotels, Ryokan, Hostel.
Money is not the biggest factor we are not on a budget but we also don’t want to overspend.

Obviously we are only trying to limit it to that region but any recommendation around the border area is still very much appreciated.
The trip we are thinking to take is as follows.

**Day 1 Saturday 11-3-2022 Sapporo:**
* The day we land so we will just hit the hotel.
**Day 2 – 3 Sunday to Monday 12-3-2022 to 13-3-2022 Sapporo:**
* Anything we feel like for example things on our map.
**Day 4 Tuesday 14-3-2022 Noboribetsu:**
* The day we leave towards Noboribetsu.
* Go to an Onsen in hell’s valley
**Day 5 Wednesday 15-3-2022 Hakodate:**
* The day we leave towards Hakodate.
* We hope to See the Goryokaku and the Cape.
**Day 6 Thursday 16-3-2022 Aomori:**
* We leave towards Aomori
* We pick up our Car in one of the next days
**Day 7 Friday 17-3-2022 Aomori:**
* Visit A-Factory
* Explore the city
**Day 8 Saturday 18-3-2022 Aomori:**
* Start the Quest to japan’s Best Cider, Nebusa Museum.
* General Lazy Day
**Day 9 Sunday 19-3-2022 Hachinohe:**
* Thinking of making a stop in Goshogawara or Mount Iwaki
* Move towards Hachinohe.
* Then drink at one of hachinohe’s famous alleyways
**Day 10 Monday 20-3-2022 Hachinohe:**
* Breakfast at the local fish market.
* View the Ocean.
* Visit the Tomb of Christ this day or the day we leave towards Towada Lake.
**Day 11 Tuesday 21-3-2022 Towada:**
* Move to Towada and Hike the Oirase Trail.
* Stay at the hotel and view the lake.
**Day 12 Wednesday 22-3-2022 Morioka:**
* Drive to Morioka, probably via Kazuno and Senboku.
* Arrive later the day in Morioka.
**Day 13 Thursday 23-3-2022 Morioka:**
* Lazy Day Stroll around Morioka
* Some want to do the wanko soba challenge
**Day 14 Friday 24-3-2022 Miyako:**
* View Morioka city a bit more.
* Later the day drive to Miyako where we will Go to a Hotel and rest.
**Day 15 Saturday 25-3-2022 Kesennuma:**
* Start our journey towards Kesennuma.
* Stop by Tono and grab us some Ghengis Khan.
* Continue to Kesennuma where we will go to K-port to see if we can catch a glimpse of Ken Watanabe.
**Day 16 Sunday 26-3-2022 Sendai:**
* If the last day we arrived late we will visit Kport.
* Otherwise we will go to Sendai To View Matsushima bay
**Day 17 – 18 Monday to Tuesday 27-3-2022 to 28-3-2022 Sendai:**

**Day 19 Wednesday 29-3-2022 Fukushima (Aizuwakamatsu):**
* We go towards Aizuwakamatsu and view some sights.
**Day 20 – 21 Thursday to Friday 30-3-2022 to 31-3-2022 Nikko:**
* Indulge in a nice Ryokan and onsen.
* This is our cool off time before we go to Tokyo.
**Day 22 Sunday 1-4-2022 Utsunomiya:**
* Not sure if we will actually stay or directly go towards Saitama
**Day 23 Saturday 2-4-2022 Tokyo:**
* Our Tokyo Adventure begins.
* We go to the railway museum in Saitama
**Day 24 – 34 Sunday to Friday 3-4-2022 to 13-4-2022** **Tokyo:**

**Day 35 Saturday 14-4-2022 Tokyo:**
* Time to go back home 🙁
* Not Much time to do anything.

If you have any suggestions about the length of stay in cities or have new cities to add/remove, please to tell me in the comments. We were also looking to visit Akita and Niigata however, they did not seem too interesting.
We are aiming to have at least a small two weeks in the Tokyo area (10 to 13 ) days, but all leftover days can be used for spreading out.
