Is Disney+ worth it in 2023/2022?

1. As far as I’ve seen, all non-Japanese content (such as Marvel and Star Wars) on Disney+ is available in English and about 30 trillion other languages.

   I don’t think they require a Docomo account.

   Overall, my experience has been extremely good; available on Disney+ is far more than just Disney and MCU stuff; basically it seems almost ANY subsidiary studio has their stuff on D+, so there’s a TON of movies available as well.

   Edit: As a sidenote, in regards to Japanese content, it’s a bit of a crapshoot whether or not it will have English subtitles. The majority of it doesn’t, but a good bit of random stuff does, so it’s more or less the same as Netflix in that regard.

   Is just subscribing 1000 yen for one month and judge by yourself gonna kill you?

   Do you think each one of the millions of subscribers came on Reddit ask first?

3. Disney+ Japan has more content because Disney doesn’t own hulu Japan, so content that is on hulu in the US is on Disney+ in Japan.

   You don’t need a docomo account and yes, stuff that is originally in English is in English.

4. Disney+ got better than early days and they also took some good shows off Netflix. Totally worth it.

   You can subscribe through apple or Google app store.

6. You can use Amazon Pay for Disney+ now, so you don’t need Docomo. They have a lot of English language content and support. Their main stuff is Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, and a variety of American and Japanese TV shows and movies.

7. If you have American Amex platinum card.. it’s free. Uses japan IP address and have Japanese subtitles and dub
