maybe define “a short time”.
from their website they don’t offer an elevator class that will take you straight from N4 to N1. Assuming you have a perfect score in N4, it will take you as short as 6 months to reach N2 if you study full-time five days a week. If you don’t have N4, you may need to tack on another 3 months to take their intro bundle classes. If you want to reach N1 they don’t have an online class for that, from personal experience you’ll need about 8 months at least to go from perfect score in N2 to passing N1.
learning with this school five days a week (plus a lot of time in private) will get you to your goal in ~1.5 years.
learning by yourself five days a week (plus a lot of time in private) will likely get you to the same place in the same amount of time. Seems like the magic here is to have enough dough to sustain yourself for two years, and have the luxury to devote all your time studying and do nothing else. It’s the hundreds of thousands of hours you put in that will do the real work, whether you go with that school is just an option, like if you want fries with that. 🍟
