  1. It’s Monday! Yes.
Did you do anything over the weekend? Shoveled snow.
Go somewhere? The front of the house, the back on the house.
Meet someone? Several snowmen, dead or suffering plants.
Try something new? Brand new shovel.

    Life’s great.

  2. Got my 4th shot on Saturday morning. Was fine until night, suddenly had a horrible fever and uncontrollable shaking/chills. Went to bed early, still mildly feverish most of Sunday. Was able to buy a present for work gift exchange when I felt better.

Felt like I wasted my weekend.

  3. * Completed a 10-day meditation retreat, last day was yesterday
    * Finally arrived at home after the retreat in the afternoon, rested for a bit, then went to my recent favorite local place in the evening. Had a burrito, a couple of soft tacos, and a few beers. Tasted like heaven after 10 days of very simple vegetarian meals! Didn’t take much to get a strong buzz going as well.

  4. Finally got Covid. It really isn’t as bad as I was expecting but I’m supposed to be moving to a new apartment tomorrow.

I think if I could’ve spent all weekend on the couch I would’ve been fine, but having to pack up my entire apartment while sick was pretty shitty.

  5. Chatted (skype) with my best mate back home. It has been about a year since the last time. I suppose you can get pretty caught up when you have 5 boys to look after! Was great seeing them all and getting a garden tour (so envious!). Very happy for him.

Changed over to winter tires and surprisingly pulled up ok. Usually my body aches for a couple of days. Other than that, just the usual exciting housework (no really, getting shit done soothes my soul) and hanging out with my little girl (also soul-soothing).

  6. It was snowing on and off the entire day on Sunday. Snowflakes would start falling, stop then resume 30 minutes later. It was pretty unusual to see. Shame it didn’t stick to the ground though!
