Three kittens still looking for their new home.

You’ll probably recognize Tomato and Cheese from my previous posts. These two sisters are so sweet and we just can’t understand why they haven’t found a family yet. They’re about four months old, FIV/FeLV negative, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas/ticks/parasites. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Tomato and Cheese were from one litter of the many kittens removed from an awful hoarding situation. Luckily, the hoarder was very cooperative with the rescue and some 35 cats and kittens were removed or TNRd from the property. Many had upper respiratory infections, parasites and a number of other problems associated with hoarding. But they’re doing better now.

Wednesday the Halloween night rescue is still waiting for her second vaccination and neuter so she’s not quite ready for adoption but you can still apply! She’s always overdressed to every occasion and is a bit of a spaz. She loves her mouse toy and my husband’s toes. Her fur has red highlights and grey roots. I dunno what salon she goes to but it must cost a fortune.

Tomato, Cheese and Wednesday are being fostered through Kawakuji Animal Rescue. Adoption requires filling out the adopting application, a phone interview, a home check, proof of landlord approval if renting and an adoption fee of 20,000円 each. There may also be transport costs. Kawakuji is located in Ibaraki Prefecture but adopts to the greater Kanto area and beyond if a good fit is found.
