Working Holiday / Residence Card question

Hey guys,

\-Currently live in Japan
\- Have my permanent address

One of my friends is planning on coming over with a Working Holiday Visa and is planning to stay in different parts of the country for long peroids of time during her duration of her stay here. She wants to save the hastle of registering/unregistering her semi-permanent address in the ward office everytime she moves cities. Would it be any problem for either party (me or her) to just register her residence card to my address while she doesnt actually stay in my place? Just so all the mail or w.e goes to one place the entire duration of her stay?

Thanks in advance

  1. I stayed somewhere else for a month on my working holiday without changing my address. Not sure what the official rule is but I don’t think it will cause any issues unless she gets work or needs to rent a flat somewhere else

  2. The only problem will be if they do decide to register somewhere for work etc. Then they’ll need to come back to get the moving out certificate
