Hi. In China, a big omicron wave is hitting the country and I see news all over the place. Google stats seems to indicate that a big wave of omicron is hitting japan. However, I don’t see much news. Is there a big omicron wave hiting the country or are things under control? Thanks.

8th wave currently in Japan. But less stress about it. Herd immunity and vaccines have given more confidence to them. They should be fine.
Interesting however, that masks are worn at all times, it still the virus circulates
