Anyone have experience in-person at immigration with submitting a work residency application form without a company seal on it?
I’m switching jobs and I’m on an engineering residency, and I’m renewing my residency at the same time (currently unemployed).
My new company’s contracts are handled by a third party (though my employer will be the company, not the third party). The third party wants to send me the documents I need for renewal over email. Is that fine?
I’ve read on reddit about other people getting their company’s stamp on the organization/employer part of the application form. Is that important to have?
Looking at immigration’s website, it sounds like all of the company tax documents at least can just be copies as long as they are copies of stamped documents; but I don’t see anywhere where it mentions needing a stamp on the application form itself.
Should I try to at least get the company to stamp the application form? Like maybe just ask to go into the office with the filled-out application from the third party?
Are there any other documents I will need original and/or stamped copies of from the company? Obviously for my own documents I can get originals, so that’s not an issue – just wondering about stuff on the company’s end.
