i’ve been very luck to live in places with AMAZING sushi so this was pretty comparable to sushi i’ve had in the past, but the other dishes i got at tsukiji were mindblowing!
What’s that mince meat looking stuff on top of the bottom bowl?
Toyosu fish market restaurants are a real treat. Sad I don’t go more often as I live (edit spelling) about 5 mins by car.
Last time I went there, it was around this time of year and went to the place below. Got the 15 pc 5,200 yen menu and they served a fish called kue (long tooth grouper in English) and was really good. Give this a try next time you are there.

One of the best places in the world for sushi. Looks amazing.
What is the différence between donburi and shirashi ?
It looks incredible. What’s the pink stuff in the middle of the bottom bowl?
Here’s another what’s that stuff, BUT, what’s that yellow stuff at the bottom?
Will be visiting soon for the 1st time. Any recommendations for restaurants or navigating tsujiki?
