Different Japanese fonts between computers

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I recently noticed that the computer I use at work has a different font for displaying japanese characters than my personal laptop. I’m not sure if this has something to do with the operating system, web browser or some hidden setting I’ve never bothered to tweak, but overall the work PC has a font that displays “rounder”, more handwritten-like hiragana characters, which look really out of place along the kanji (despite looking better, imo) , while my home PC has a different font for hiragana that looks a bit more like the kanji. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Both PCs are running Windows 10, these [screenshots](https://imgur.com/a/GmeBRCl) were taken using Google Chrome at work and Firefox at home (MS Edge displays the text exactly like Firefox). Sorry for the atrocious screenshot quality and for asking here, but I could not think of a better subreddit to ask about this subject.

  1. I believe the font in the laptop is from Japanese Supplemental Pack, automatically installed by Windows 10 if you have an IME installed. It would reinstall if you try to remove it. I believe the font is `Meiryo` (non-proportional).

The font in the Work PC should be `Yu Gothic` (proportional), I believe. The default font for Japanese characters in Windows 10, until you install that pack.
