I do have my gifts ready haha not asking for ideas but wondering how everybody feels. For some reason this year doesn’t feel as Christmassy as previous years
Booze, among other things. Got Western stuff to make it a bit rarer. Not easy, but Amazon and Costco made it work.
I’m the only one getting anything because SOMEONE ate all my deep fried gyoza I brought home from tokyo despite me saying to leave me two.
Kinda just kidding. I already made him a scarf that he likes. But… I still want the gyoza.
10 years together and 2 kids later, we really don’t give each other frivolous gifts anymore. The past few years I’ve given her gifts that are useful at work: Portable monitor to use as a second screen, USB humidifier, and a 2-in-1 iPhone and Apple Watch charger (cordless).
It’s the kids who get the good stuff these days.
We decided not to do gifts this year, mainly because we went all out for our birthdays. Besides, I have a cycling event and he’s already ordered his bucket of KFC for shits and giggles so Christmas will be just like any other day.
His stocking stuffer has a pair of socks, hairbrush and durag. His main gifts are dragonball figures and other anime stuff
I bought my wife a house years ago. I’m gonna ride that train till she kicks me
We usually do something romantic together to celebrate Christmas. He makes a lot more money than I do and hates it when I buy something for him.
I’m buying my girlfriend the Booster Course Pass for *Mario Kart 8 Deluxe* because she couldn’t think of anything else she wanted.
A new scratching post that looks like a Canada goose. He’s gonna be stoked. Got him a little water fountain too since he keeps inhaling his water and choking. Ridiculous little creature. So much easier to shop for than a human male and he actually appreciates the gifts. I think. He tends to bite. Still better than a human male though.
