心 kanji history

This is kinda delicate but I think I have read somewhere that this kanji in fact also somehow connected with depiction of male genitalia. Is this has any base in it?

  1. Never heard that before. My understanding is that the original sign was supposed to represent the chambers of the heart.

  2. It definitely looks like a benis if you look at wikitionary。 I suspect the idea that it’s a heart is some serious cope and retconning. But I don’t have proof of this.
