かねない is similar to かもしれない. Usually mean ‘Something may happen’. The one big difference is that ～かねない is usually used in ‘negative’ cases.
障害を来しかねない -> 障害を来す (Cause the disruption of the tournament) + かねない (it may ______)
By the way, the verb here is 来す (きたす), which means ‘to cause something’. Just writing this so you do not get confused with 来る.
