嬉しい is more like pleased/glad
幸せ is happiness, something more lasting
嬉しかった because 嬉しい is an い adjective, 幸せ だった because 幸せ is a な adjective
幸せ is a な adjective, so add だった to make it non present tense. It means good fortune, luck
嬉しい is a い adjective, so remove the い and add かった. It means happy, glad
One way to ask someone to marry you is to ask that they make you shiawase.
When they say yes you are ureshii
