Amazon fake/mistake delivery?

Just had Kuroneko guy come (in uniform) and deliver an Amazon package that I had to pay 2man 6sen yen for, which I hadn’t order but it was to my address with my name so I don’t know how they could know this information. I checked my Amazon account and there was no order for anything of that price and I have no deliveries coming right now, so the guy said he’ll cancel it and left.

What the heck was that all about??? I’ve never had that happen to me before. What should I do?

Edit: I checked my emails too because I get emails when I order something or when something is out for delivery, but nothing.

  1. That’s messed up. I actually have no idea what you can do other than talk to Amazon customer service. Please update if you find out anything, I’m curious now.

  2. Good job.

NEVER accept or sign for a package you didn’t order, are not expecting or are not sure of the contents. Basic but there are stories out there of it going horribly wrong

  3. Yea scam. Even if the package did belong to you, you can reject it if suspicious, and they will temporarily store it for you. I’m glad you didn’t pay that asshole. Report it if you can.

  4. Question, but this has been happening to me a lot recently. I’ve never had to pay for them but packages come that I didn’t order. I order a lot online so I just accept them without thinking.

I’ve not been charged on any of my accounts so I don’t know what anyone is gaining from this.

    What should I do?
