My current Japanese teacher isn’t responsible at all. Sometimes she’ll be late 30 minutes even if just an hour after finishing lesson I have orchestra practice. Sometimes her old students would return and chat with her while I have problems cutting conversations to get attention and need her help. I’m barely learning anything from her and I was supposed to take the N5 test last month but moved to January since she didn’t bother remembering and then moved it to February because she said I wasn’t ready and didn’t bother telling me, only telling my mom after she asked.
I don’t know if this subreddit can help but I’ll try my chances. I live in West Jakarta, Indonesia so if anyone has ever studied Japanese here please let me know.

Get out of your abusive relationship with your teacher
Did you try your local group for ‘foreigners in jakarta” on facebook? You might be more successful there.
just don’t mention how this teacher was.
Have you tried looking at [italki.com](https://italki.com) ? There are a ton of tutors to choose from, and they all have introductory videos so you have some sense of what you are getting into. Plus there is no commitment, one starts slacking, there are a bunch of others to try.
Also, since the pandemic, there are a ton of language schools that are online now. My in person school pre covid is all online now. You could just search “*some big city with your preferred time zone* Japanese” and find something. Good luck!
