Who is the subject for 見えて and 押し付けてくる? What 狡猾 means here?

What does それ refer to? 冗談に昇華し means to treat as a joke? So it translates to “It is a skill that lets me to … and make myself likeable to others”?

Can you use ばどう in place of たらどう ? or are they different?
そんなに彼が好きだったら、つきあったらどう？
そんなに彼が好きだったら、付き合えばどう？
If you like him that much, why don’t you go out with him?

How come suru is in the negative form here when clearly it means to do such a thing? Slang perhaps if と particle is left off?
