1. No doubt! It’s next to impossible, but Taichi and Kawada need to have some sort of match for Taichi to take that next step, imo (they could do something similar to Stone cold vs KO at Mania, a brawl all over the arena).

Like I said some days ago, he really took us on a ride going from talented junior to sad freelancer, then useless idiot in Suzuki-gun and slimey heavyweight heel, to finally Dangerous T and reaching basically babyface status due to how good he is, from Taichi go home to being booked as underdog good guy against Tanahashi at the G1 Climax, and in all of this he has never challenged for the IWGP World/Heavyweight, IC or US, to show how much depth he could add still

3. i really don’t want to jerk NJPW, but god I can’t believe people willingly go out of their way to shit on wrestling with such compelling stories

4. I feel like Taichi is a guy who spent years being a disrespectful dickhead, pretending to have zero feelings, and now he is open about how much he loves SZG and Zack and the adoration of the fans, he’s feeling them slip away, and blames himself. Plus, he’s got a cool coat.

   I honestly think taichi being bad for years honestly helps add to his character now.

   I cant fuply write down how much I like taichis character.

   But the idea of the isolated cheating loser becoming a becoming a beloved babyface is just great

9. He really leveled up during covid, really put suzuki-gun over the top for my favorite faction

10. My girlfriend loves his entrance and his gear. He’s been a constant highlight since I started watching in 2019. Cannot deny how much his character has evolved since I started watching. All hail lord Taichi!

12. I’m sad he gets disrespected all the time, while guys like Karl Anderson, FTR etc. just come in, win titles, go away, don’t come back, sometimes come back. And a guy like Taichi, who is great and over, never gets a chance. And when he finally wins something, he loses it 2 weeks after. I just hate it man. He proved he can go in the Main Event. Great matches wie Naito, with Okada. Always greats with Ishii. The Tag Team bouts with GOD. Man, he can do it all. Yet they don’t value him at ALL.
