I have got a job offer in Japan. They have applied the COE for me.
1. I made a mistake in Japanese translation of my post-graduation marksheet.
2. I also got an offer in 2019, I don’t know whether they applied for COE for me or not at that time. After sending the documents for COE to the company, about 14 days ago, I replied them, i won’t be able to join them because of financial circumstances.
Would I inform my current company about this?

Without knowing the nature of the mistake it’s hard to say if it will be a problem or not. My guess is that either immigration will look to clarify or they’ll ask the local consulate to follow up when it comes time for the visa application.

I wouldn’t bother. Even if they had proceeded with the CoE application it would have expired by now.
