I’ve been to Tokyo 4 times now for Vacation with my then girlfriend and now wife, but this is our first vacation with our little guy and want to know of any good suggestions of fun stuff to do with our baby with us. I post this because I understand there are definitely activities that we will not be able to do with baby. I’m posting our Itinerary and a list of stuff we did in the past we are likely going to do again if we can to give an idea of the stuff we like to do:

May 4 to 10 Tokyo (Staying at Hyatt Regency Shinjuku) / May 10 to 13 Staying at Hyatt Place Kyoto / May 14 to 18 Back to Tokyo (Hyatt Regency Shinjuku
1. May 4 to 10 / MAY 14 TO 18: Tokyo
* Plan to spend at least one day in each place and then rinse and repeat:
1. Shinjuku – visit Kabukicho, the Don Quijote nearest our Hotel, would appreciate Izakaya recommendations and food and coffee spots in this Area. Its the area I most frequent but we usually just wander around and find stuff. It would be great to get food as well as any fun things we can do with baby in this area.
2. Harajuku – Takeshita Dori, Cat Cafe Mocha There. Don’t know much else to do in Harajuku other than the super crowded shopping street.
3. Shibuya – Yoyogi Park, Center Gai
4. Odaiba – Joypolis, Toyota Center, Diver City Mall – Maybe 2 days in Odaiba as Joypolis can take a day by itself
5. Shimokitazawa – Love this area, usually hit up difft vintage clothing, arcades and eats. Heard this place is known for curry and coffee so curry and coffee spots you can recommend are welcome.
6. Tsukiji Market- Visited before but wasn’t sure what a good place to eat would be. We ended up eating as Sushi Zanmai and although it was good, I know Zanmai is a chain so I’d like to try another spot.
2. May 10 to 13: Kyoto and Osaka
Osaka
1. Universal Studios Osaka – Never been but heard they do child swap where my wife and I can take turns watching baby when we line up for rides he cannot ride.
2. Kuromon Ichiba Market
3. Onsens – Never been to one but may try to visit one in Osaka
4. Food – I know Osaka is known for their food so any food spots recommendations are welcome
Kyoto
1. Nishiki Market
2. Fushimi Inari Shrine
3. Knife Shops- I bought a knife in Kyoto years ago and I use it everyday. If anyone knows any good Knife shops in Kyoto or Osaka that would be great

Food we like: yakiniku / kbbq spots with good a5, ramen, Izakayas and sushi spots. My wife and also love coffee and love trying different coffee spots especially when we’re on vacation
We are a pretty nerdy couple very in to anime, video games arcades amusement parks etc. my wife loves K-pop and Jpop, not ashamed to do cliche touristy stuff so long as they are still fun things to do and especially if we can do them with Baby.
