I recently got an SMBC card to be connect to my PayPal and receive payouts from my social media page but I couldn’t connect it to my PayPal, I couldn’t connect it directly to my social media page as well.
If anyone has success or was able to connect their PayPal to thier bank could you please share which bank you are currently using?
Im thinking of going to the SMBC office to ask about it but with my limited Japanese I am unsure if I’ll be able to handle the issue there or if they have staff that speaks English.

If direct bank transfer is not possible, use Payoneer or Stripe, much less hassle and commission. Also, no risk being blocked by PayPal for unknown reason.
I had many problems connecting my PayPal account created in the US with some Japanese companies. When I created a new account here in Japan, all those problems went away
