I tried multiple conbinis, real super markets like Belc, Don Quijote and some other random stores that sell hygiene products, but only ever found these “safety scissors for baby nails” which barely cut anything and aren’t curved.
Do these not exist here or where are they being sold?

Try asking for 爪切り(tsume-kiri) at drug stores, home centers, Amazon. Interestingly, even Yodobashi has them.
Try asking, donqui should have it but for cheaper go to 100yen shop.
Daiso or drugstore. They sell the curvy ones, safety ones, pointy ones, everything your heart could desire.

Nail clippers are more common. Maybe try Muji, Plaza, matsukio…
