I’m leaving Japan for a couple of years but will return eventually (permanent resident). I will have myself removed from juuminhyo and want to redirect my letters to my wife’s family. Do you know if that’s possible ? Any experiences? I have bank letters which come once a year related to housing loan but seems our bank doesn’t allow us to change our address without being registered.
It’s a super weird (un)logical circle ⭕️ where in an Excel spreadsheet you would get a circular reference error.

Maybe just don’t remove yourself from juuminhyo? Or put your juuminhyo with your wife’s family? I guess that might have tax implications (not sure)?
